Fourth in our Senior Spotlight series, we are recognizing Edwin! He shared truly inspirational words about his time at Paragon.
What do you love about Paragon?
I loved learning about different subjects and being able to understand what I learned. I loved having teachers there to provide me with help; teachers who you can count on while you’re learning.
Tell us about your friends.
I was glad to make friends at school. Some of them I was very comfortable talking with and enjoying having fun with them. Right now, I’m starting to miss them.
What word would you use to describe yourself?
I would describe myself as self-confident, because in every situation I do my best to believe in myself.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I will have graduated or about to graduate from college. I will reach my destiny. I would like to be a sports analyst.
What will you miss the most about Paragon?
I will miss the fun events at school, like field day, Surprise Day, Christmas, and the end of the year parties.
What advice would you give to younger students?
My advice is to be confident, be calm, keep studying and be yourself.
What is your favorite memory from Paragon?
If I have to look back on a particular memory, my favorite would be the Winter Olympic Field Day two years ago. Another favorite memory was the last day of my second year at Paragon. We were playing video games and watching Wreck It Ralph. I was in the 5th grade at the time.
Is there anything you would like to share with your teachers?
I am going to miss all of the teachers. I would like to thank them for being a positive role model in my life and a crucial part of my education. I will never forget the things that you have brought to me. I have been at Paragon for several years and had different teachers throughout that time. Some have come and gone, but those who have been with me will be in my heart and in my mind forever.
Our final senior spotlight will be shared tomorrow.
