High school teacher, Marvin Maloy, was recently selected as one of the recipients of the Golden Apple Award.

The award, made possible by Florida Senator Randolph Bracy, is given to teachers for going above and beyond for their students.

“I feel both humbled and honored to be recognized,” says Maloy. “As educators we just want what is best for our students.”

Maloy was one out of 10 teachers selected for the award in the entire state of Florida.

“I am thrilled for Mr. Maloy to earn this very honorable recognition. His service as teacher, coach, vocational trainer and role model is truly remarkable,” states Helen Leonard, Head of School.

"Mr. Maloy's belief in his students instills the confidence needed for them to succeed in the classroom and the world beyond."

“We will do anything in our power to provide our youth with the tools necessary to achieve anything they set their minds to,” says Maloy. This award is a great testament to the Paragon vocational team, as we as a whole will continue to go above and beyond for our students.”

Congratulations, Mr. Maloy!
